The Aluminum Association is the primary source for statistics and business information on the North American aluminum industry. Through ongoing surveys of more than 100 aluminum producers, the Association delivers data on 100 percent of all primary and nearly 90 percent of all mill output in the United States and Canada. The Association’s more than two-dozen different statistical reports cover every segment of the aluminum market, from orders to shipments to capacity.

These reports are made available for free to provide basic industry information to the general public.
Industry Summary Reports
The Association’s flagship reports, industry summary reports include comprehensive, real-time data about the overall North American aluminum industry including shipments, production, trade and other economic indicators.
Primary Aluminum Reports
Primary aluminum reports provide information on primary (new) aluminum production in the U.S. and Canada.
These reports provide information about recycling used beverage containers.
Shipments reports provide detailed information on aluminum industry shipments in a number of key markets.
End Use Reports
End use reports include detailed data on aluminum metal shipments broken down by the specific end use product.
Foreign Trade Reports
Foreign trade reports provide import and export data for specific aluminum commodity types (scrap, ingot, extruded products, etc).
The Association’s Business Information & Statistics Department also produces annual and biennial publications including the compendium statistical report, the Aluminum Statistical Review and North American plant and extrusion press directories.
