Industry Statistics
The Aluminum Association is the primary source for statistics and business information on the North American aluminum industry, producing more than two-dozen ongoing reports covering virtually every aspect of the domestic industry.
Through ongoing surveys of aluminum producers, we deliver data on 100% of all primary and nearly 90% of all mill output in the United States and Canada. Statistical reports are available as a benefit of membership to the Aluminum Association and by individual subscription.

Industry Standards
For more than 60 years, the Aluminum Association has worked with the industry to develop and maintain technical standards for aluminum production. This ANSI-accredited process has yielded more than 500 individual standards for various types of aluminum.
From designating alloys and answering technical questions to engaging with the academic community, our standards program is the backbone of a vital system that facilitates the production, sale and use of aluminum.
The safety and well-being of aluminum industry employees is a top priority.
We believe hazards can be minimized or eliminated entirely by careful attention to safe handling practices and the sharing of best practices.
U.S. Aluminum's Economic Impact
The Aluminum Association produces ongoing studies to quantify the economic impact of the U.S. aluminum industry. These reports capture U.S. jobs, wages, economic output and other information and are sortable to the congressional district level.
A major part of the U.S. manufacturing base, aluminum supports hundreds of thousands of good-paying jobs and tens of billions to the U.S. economy.
