Describes the evaluation of the TP-1 Standard Test Procedure for Aluminum Alloy Grain Refiners. The goal of the tests was to determine if the TP-1 test was repeatable. With a standardized protocol fixing the variables left open in TP-1 the task group used up to 12 laboratories and two rating procedures on the specimens generated.
