The Aluminum Association represents U.S. and foreign-based companies and their suppliers throughout the value chain, from primary production to value added products to recycling.

Statistics and Market Research 

Industry statistics and business information are a vital tool for Aluminum Association members and industry stakeholders to understand the North American market and monitor trade flows.

Through the work of its Statistics and Market Research committee, the Aluminum Association is the primary source for statistics and business information on the North American aluminum industry. The committee provides general oversight of core statistical programs and determines aluminum supply and demand as well as consumption by major market for North America.

Current membership includes: Alcoa, Arconic, Bonnell, Commonwealth Rolled Products, Constellium, Granges Americas, Hydro, JW Aluminum, Kaiser Aluminum, Novelis, Reynolds Consumer Products, Rio Tinto, Rusal America Corp., Scepter Inc, Skana Aluminum Company, Smelter Service Corporation, Tri-Arrows Aluminum and Western Extrusions.

Technical Committee on Product Standards

For more than 60 years, the Aluminum Association has worked with the industry to develop and maintain technical standards for aluminum production. From designating alloys to answering technical questions to engaging with the academic community, the association’s Technical Committee on Product Standards (TCPS) is vital to facilitating the production, sale and use of aluminum.
